Another run down...

Just finished #c25k week 1 run 2 with #getrunning – 28½ minutes of exercise and 8 minutes of running. Next run: Thursday 2nd.

Starting Over (again)

Just finished #c25k week 1 run 1 with #getrunning – 28½ minutes of exercise and 8 minutes of running. Next run: Tuesday 31st.


I am trying to start Couch 2 5K program again (for is probably at least the 3rd or 4th time). I think this time around I will go nice and slow. Maybe even do each week 2 or 3 times before moving on. Last time it just got too hard too fast and I made up all kinds of excuses why I couldn't do it and then I just gave up.

Hopefully I can get myself into a good routine and stick with it this time!

New Projects!

After about 4 or 5 months of work I finally finished my Camber Cardigan!  In my defense it was on size 3 needles with lace weight yarn...  I had a little trouble with the i-cord bind off (the button band was too tight and when I pulled it out I caused some unraveling issues but I seemed to be able to hide the disaster area pretty well!), but over all I really liked the end result.  I am a huge fan of fine gauge sweaters, so I am jumping right into another project.  This time it is on size 4 needles with fingering weight yarn, therefore it should move along a bit faster!  So far I have the ribbing and one repeat of the pattern done.






I also really like have a small, mindless project on the needles that I can toss in my bag and work on whenever I have a spare moment and am sitting down (waiting rooms, movie theaters, etc).  So here is the start to some plain k3, p3 ribbed socks.   A perfect on the go project!
